Are you having trouble with my Feed?
I just got a comment from my blog buddy Jedi Master Daryl He's been having trouble with my feed.
He writes - " Hmmmm... I have no idea why my blog doesn't want to play nice with your feed.
I just tried redoing the link, and that didn't help.
When I click on your name and post on my blogroll, 1/2 the time it goes to an old post or just the outline of your blog, and the other 1/2 it actually goes to the right place.
I guess that is okay if I manually check your blog. But the problem is that it doesn't seem to want to pull your blog to the top when you write a fresh post. It seems to be stuck on a post you wrote like 8 months ago.
I have no idea why. Sorry. :-(
Is anyone else having any problems with my feed in any way? Please let me know, and when you think the problem started. I'm trying to figure out what is happening here. THANKS!

I'm not quite sure what the feed is!
Hi dmarks,
My blog feed. Do you use a reader?
I think this may also be what is affecting the CommentLuv on my blog. It can't read your latest posts. I have also noticed that MyblogLog does not list your latest feed either.
No. I read blogs, but I am not sure what a "Reader" is.
Hi Debo Hobo,
Wow, that's not good news. I trying to figure it out with Feedburner. They list me as having 2 feeds for this blog. I wonder if I delete one of the feeds if that would work. I really don't know much about feeds.
Hi LadyBanana,
Thanks LB. Apparently I have 2 feeds for this blog, and I have a feeling that might be the problem. ? Yet, I don't know anything about feeds so I might be wrong. This is the kind of puzzle that I don't like.
Hi dmarks,
Probably most bloggers read your blog by an RSS Reader. If you read a previous post of mine, "Blogging Tip: YouTube video on RSS reader", it will tell you about it.

In order for your readers put your blog in their reader, (to access your feed), it's good to have it on your blog. You have Google Blogger so It's easy to do this. Go to layout, and add a Gadget. Click on "Subscription Links" and add it. If you have problems doing this let me know.
Unfortunately the feed itself is what I'm having trouble with. I don't think this is a common problem. You should be fine.
I just got 25 new posts in your feed, LOL. Maybe because you reset it or something. When I went to google reader I thought,damn...she's been busy, 25 posts in like 2 days?
Hi Jedi,
I was hoping to feature you in a post, but I don't think it would be in this way. lol
Ek, sorry to hear about your computer. I have to give mouth to mouth to mine occasionally, but she's a sturdy old gal. I hope they get it straightened out soon. Remember the library has computers too.
Conserving your last paragraphs, I hope that a hacker did do damage to your computer.
I put a new URL in my blog, but it does not match the one that feedburner has, so I'm not sure I did the right thing. It will do for not but I I'm not sure if it is a permanent fix. So we will see.
Hi Drowsey Monkey,
I put a new URL in my blog, but it does not match the 2 in Feedburner has, so I'm not sure I did the right thing. It will do for now, but I'm not sure if it is a permanent fix. Frankly, I don't know what I'm doing. I just want a stable feed. Sigh, can I have Drowsey Monkey to cuddle up with tonight. ;o)
So, if I do the feed thing, how do I read blogs? Does it come in email or something?
Also, if readers use these things to read my blog, do they not show up as visitors in visitor tracking anymore?
Hi dmarks,
You just sign up for a reader that's listed on my post. I had Google, but I changed because it has problems & is offline now & then. So I use bloglines which is good. But there are others.
I don't think that you can track people who read your blog from a reader, but I'm not sure. If they leave a comment they will have to come directly to your blog then you can track them.
The thing is that a lot of bloggers use readers & if you don't see the "subscribe to" icon they might just move on. In other words you might have more readers if you give them the option to subscribe.
