Question About The Bush

To shave, or not to shave, or maybe just a trim? That is the question. No, I'm not talking about gardening.

I read an interesting post titled "Don't Beat Around The Bush" by Real Live Lesbian. In it she mentions that her best friend (also a lesbian) has met an unshaven women. But her friend prefers the smooth look. Thus the dilemma. Well, the post got me thinking. What do people prefer?

So my question to you is what do you prefer concerning women? Shaved, unshaven, or just a trim? If your not a man, or a lesbian, maybe you could mention your personal habits. Or, um, your "friends." ;)

This in from A.P. news - "Charles Gibson's producer says no issue is off the table for Sarah Palin's first TV interview as a vice presidential candidate, which ABC is hoping it can air in part on Thursday. Gibson will travel to Alaska and will probably speak to Palin at least twice" I heard on ABC T.V. that it might also be on Friday's news, and more on Nightline. Oh, this should to be good! I'll be recording it.

Relax folks! I'm still voting for Sen. Obama. However, that doesn't mean that I can't enjoy the heck out of another women making political history, and putting more cracks in that glass ceiling. Since half of our population are women I believe that half of our doctors, lawyers, CEO's, and politicians should be women. I just hope that this particular woman doesn't break the glass ceiling. I'm an issues person, and agree more with Obama. I have to admit that I'm also excited that we have a real race now.

I know that I have blogged on a few very heavy topics lately. Since I don't want to scare any of you away, or give you nightmares, I will soon have a second blog.

"Awake In Rochester" will be more for you. I won't get into a lot of heavy personal posts. It will have more humorous, fun, posts. Similar to what it has been, but better, and without the mega drama.

But since I need to get a few things off my chest, and it might be heavy. I will have a second blog. Therefore, blog #2 will be for me. More personal. Letting off some steam Trying to think things through. Kind of an old fashioned privet diary. My darker side. Therapy baby! I think I will have it open to the public, at least at first. So you will be able to take a peek, if your brave enough!

Eliot Spitzer poll is next. Perhaps I should have phrased that another way. ;o)

I want to thank everyone who participated in my last poll. 27 people participated, which is good considering this is a new blog. It was a 2 week poll. Here are the results...

Q. Where do you stand on same-sex marriage?

22 people (81%) said Gays should have the right to legally marry.
2 people(7%) said Civil Unions, but not gay marriage.
2 people (7%) said Domestic partnership with limited legal rights.
1 person (3%) Gay partnership should not have legal rights and should not be acknowledged.

I realize that the percentages don't exactly add up, but those were the result given. Close enough.

Big Wins for Clinton in Texas and Ohio; McCain won G.O.P. Choice

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton defeated Senator Barack Obama in the Ohio and Texas primaries on Tuesday, ending a string of defeats and allowing her to soldier on in a Democratic presidential nomination race that now seems unlikely to end any time soon. Mrs. Clinton also won Rhode Island, while Mr. Obama won in Vermont. But the results mean that Mrs. Clinton won the two states she most needed to keep her candidacy alive.

The Associated Press reported that all told, Mr. Obama retains his lead in the delegate count, with 1,477 pledged delegates compared to Mrs. Clinton’s 1,391. The A.P. said that 170 delegates from Tuesday’s contests have yet to be assigned, many from the Texas caucuses.

On the Republican side, Senator John McCain swept to victory in Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas and Vermont and claimed his party’s nomination, capping a remarkable comeback in his second bid for the presidency. Mr. McCain’s main remaining rival, Mike Huckabee, a former governor of Arkansas, announced he was dropping out minutes after the polls closed and pledged his cooperation to Mr. McCain.
