It's difficult to post only a few pictures of this gorgeous lake. It has so many faces, and such life on it. Wow! She's even beautiful in winter!

LOVE IT! I grew up in Canandaigua!!! And I was just at the lake this past weekend sitting peacefully and admiring it!

You grew up in Canandaigua? It's my favorite vacation place. My "chosen spot!" ;) The Canandaigua Inn use to have 1/2 a sandwich and soup for about $5. I use to eat a nice, but inexpensive lunch at that fancy place sometimes. I'd eat on the patio overlooking the lake. Great view! I'm not sure if the price has gone up. (For others that read this, people get married at the Canandaigua Inn because it's so beautiful there.)

It's about 30 miles south of Rochester. It's one of the finger lakes. I hear that there are several beautiful finger lakes. I was going to explore, but fell in love with Canandaigua instead.

It's even more beautiful in person! I've been on many boat rides on the lake, but now I understand that they have air balloon rides! I've always want to ride in one of them. Sounds like fun!
