Wordless Wednesday - Seattle WA is well prepared

Concerning emergency preparedness like in flu epidemics, I've learned that Seattle Washington is "one of the best prepared cities in the nation." Bravo Seattle!

Um, does anyone have information on Rochester's level of emergency preparation? You see, our local state governments are in charge of flu related preparation and decisions. So far I'm not thrilled with what I'm seeing.

Hi Debo Hobo,

? What are the symptoms of the Swine flu? Is that your question?

But is Seattle prepared from the threat of a major Volcano Eruption from Mt Rainier ?

Just stay away from them humans, wash your hands and be kind to pigs - it's officially called H1N1.

Hi Jaffer,

Hm, I don't know anything about Mt. Rainier, but I'll pet a pig if I see one. ;)

Yes, H1N1, but not everyone knows that yet, so I'll still call it piggy poo flu.

Hope that Rochester is well prepared...a friend posted a link from 13WHAM.com that there were suspected cases - hope they turned out negative :)

I think Seattle is well prepared, because if things get really bad, you can just launch that flying saucer in the photo and move to Mars.

meleah rebeccah,

Some big shot from the CDC, or something made that statement awhile back. I wish that I knew how prepared Rochester is.

Hi Rebecca,

This flu is spreading like wild fire. It will be in your area soon too so be prepared!

dmarks,

LOL! Mars might be a safer place to live soon. (not really)

LadyBanana,

We still should be prepared. I will write more about that soon. ;)
