Did you lose some Google Blogger "Followers"?

I looked at my Google Blogger "Follow this blog" list, and noticed that the number had dropped overnight. Well it looks like The Daily Blonde has the answer. To fix it go to "dashboard", on the left you will see "manage" click on that. To the right of each blog if you see "anonymously", that needs to be changed to "publicly." Now you will appear on that person's blog. I imagine they have to do the same to reappear on your blog. So spread the word! If you have trouble go to The Daily Blonde and read her post. She has more information. Added Feb 25th - Babs (Beetle) just told me that..."For those that are not with Blogger. They just need to 'stop following' and then 'follow' again and it fixes things."

I've also noticed Google Blogger Blogs have been temporally disappearing. Not the whole blog, but the posts disappear. I was told that mine disappeared, and I noticed two others did also. You can still go to a post from your reader, but you have to click on the individual post, or the posts won't show. If anyone has information on that please let me know.

Lilly's Life,

Yes! It's especially bad when a blog disappears.

Posh Totty,

Ek! I'm not sure what to tell you. You might want to contact the people at Blogger. I'm not sure how to do that.

I did do a link back as well.

Hi Mike,

Thanks! ;) I hope that all my people read this post. My number is sill low from what it was. But a few have refollowed.

I noticed that blogger was acting up a lot lately and posts haven't been showing up.

dmarks,

The "Follows" list is how I found most of my people. I just followed 1 person on someone else's list. Then another on that list, so on. I left comments. To my amazement most people commented back.

Tammy,

You can still see the posts from your reader. Then click on the INDIVIDUAL post to get to it.

Awake: I did and do something similar, but by following commenters within posts in blogs, or links on blogs' blogroll.

I did a post on this too ... and the reson for dissappearing posts can be one of many. Most that report / experience this are using internet explorer. Because IE loads HTML from start to finish in "ORDER", a second party Java or widget can halt a page load with either down servers or slow reactions. Once in a while, the blogger friend widget will cause this, or a request from Picasa.

Twit-pic has been notorious for not working, and will cause my page to load poorly, and Sitemeter will "SHUT DOWN" a blog page when it is not working. Again, this phenominon will almost always happen using internet explorer.

I have lots of browsers to use in case things like this happen.
