Pretty Palin in 2012?

Originally I just wanted to post some photos of the pretty governor so that I could l@@k at her once more. Do you blame me? But wait! I caught wind of some headlines. In fact many newspapers are saying that she will run for President in 2012. Some even speculate Palin vs. Clinton in 20012. Two female Presidential contenders!? I'll be in estrogen heaven!

Palin in 2012? You betcha! She's the darling of social conservatives, a Republican rock star. She is still pulling thousand into McCain Rallies, but they're not coming to see him, she is the magnate.

The 44 year old, folksy, beauty has "electrified the Republican Party's conservative evangelical base -- its most reliable voting bloc."

"If they do in fact lose on Tuesday she becomes one of the central figures for 2012. Clearly, Palin is a star with the social conservatives but many of the country-club Republicans just find her completely unpalatable," said Matthew Wilson, a political scientist at Southern Methodist University in Dallas."

Does Palin want to be President? In her interview with Elizabeth Vargas of 20/20. Palin says, "I'm not doin' this for naught."

Gov. Palin lacks polish, and knowledge, as well as experience. After all she was plucked out of obscure Alaska, and placed on the campaign trail faster then she could field dress a moose. But don't worry Republicans. Your party will prepare her for 2012. "Historically, "Republicans tend to pick the next guy in line," and, "strangely enough," Palin is the next guy in line. She'll be well financed and is "perfectly positioned" to run the "anti-government, anti-Washington campaign" that Republicans will call for after four years of Barack Obama." I just hope that after she's polished that she still winks at the camera. I just love that!

Don't worry Republicans, she'll be back!

Don't worry about encouraging votes. Pro- or against. I'm sure your readers have likely made up their minds by now. Some have probably voted.

Ah, if only the main stream media stars could be as fair as you! Of course Palin is a star for us conservatives. We sure needed one! Hilary was (is) the Dems star...paid her dues, has a head full of knowledge. Obama actually has helped me appreciate Hilary more...comparing the two he pales! But 2012 is too far away for me to worry about...I have Tuesday to sweat over. As a Canadian living in the US I have no vote yet must live with the consequence. As my kids would say "NO FAIR".

I love Hillary and always will. I do not believe she will run in 2012. The sad thing is that she was always way smarter than Bill but for some reason doesnt have that personality plus that her husband and Sarah Palin possess. I saw my daughter watch a video of Obama last night and she was like, wow, isnt he amazing, ra ra ra. He appeals to younger people and disallusioned people and there are plenty of those. I hope for the worlds sake they are right and the rest of us are wrong. No I dont get to vote either but the impact of George Bush will keep on keeping on across the world unfortunately. As for Palin, yes I admire her to do what she has done. I think she has coped extremely well considering. I am not sure there would be many with her inexperience that could get up there and speak in the way she has. She certainly wants to go places and lets hope she does. I still do not condone a lot of her policies though.

Sarah Palin and Barrak Obama sit face to face on the log to me. The same level of experience in politics and a close run at the time served as "PRESENT" as any two could be. It's just that, well, he has a penis, and probably a LARGE one at that. And it is more than obvious that she has bigger balls than he.

I'd vote for her today.....for the same reasons everyone else seems to favor Obama.

But, I'm weird.

I can't forget that Hillary was at the center of a crime ring where there were a dozen felony convictions.... the colleagues who did not have the ability she did to use the power of the Executive Branch to obstruct justice. I'd rather have someone who is clean clean run instead.

Aside from that, she really has too little experience. Slighty more than Obama, really. This situation will improve by 2012 of course. 4 more years in the Senate will make Hillary a seasoned senator, which she just is not yet.

Back to Palin, she is making full support of IDEA into an issue. For years, it has been in party platforms, but ignored. She is to be commended for that.

I think she is very attractive :-)

Like I said, why aren't those of us who are level-headed and fair minded the ones demanding that the media write that way too. What a refreshingly respectful dialogue we are having.

Pretty is as pretty does, and she lack the ethics needed to be truly beautiful

dmarks said...

I'm not sure of an ethics claim against her other than trying to fire that state trooper, who was drunk on the job and incompetant, violent.

Hi dmarks,

Two of my blog buddies just made up their minds on who to vote for. So not everyone has decided yet.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi Lady Banana,

Yes, well we have had some weird presidents too.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi twofinches,

Thanks!

Actually among Dems Obams is suppose to be the star, but in my book Hillary is. However, Obama has impressed me. He is very bright, a quick learning, and doesn't make many mistakes. He made great progress in debates. I think that he will be a good leader, but he needs to have an excellent team of highly experienced people to offset his lack of experience.

It must be frustrating for you, not to be able to vote now. I think that the election might be closer then they say.

Speedcat Hollydale said...

You are always awake!

I like that about you :-)

.... Is it my imagination, or is Palin EVEN hotter this morning??

(rubbing me eyes)

Yep, it's true.

Hey ... it was great to get to know you a little better last night. I am positive of one thing. My favorite part of blogging is the live conversation with interesting, open, happy, warm, and FUN people (like you)

The world is full of bitter, hateful, and "my opinion is the only right one" type.
When I find people that seem to meld with my sharing and caring approach to life ... I feel as if I have made a connection.

Please do not be a stranger at my blog. You will always be a welcome guest :-)

Hi Lilly's Life,

Your from Australia right? It amazes me how people from other countries know what's going on in the U.S. I think that as a country we are rather focused on ourselves.

Hilly's my gal! I'd vote for her if I could. I've hear from political analysts that Bill was our smartest president in recent history. Personally I think that he may have been our best. He made good on his promise, and got our deficit down to nothing.

I wasn't sure about Obama at first. He seemed to talk about change a lot, and to non-specific. But from the debates and such I've learned more about his plans, and they sound good to me. He's highly intelligent, and well organized. I think that he will do good, but your right. He has one heck of a mess to clean up.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi Liquid,

LOL! You have a unique way of looking at life. I need to get to know your better.

Concerning the balls & penis, I don't think I'll go there. I won't touch it with a 10 foot pole. ;o)

As for my view on Obama, check out my comments to twofinches & Lilly's Life. ;o)

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi dmarks,

You've been a bad boy! 10 lashes with a wet noodle!

Here I write a nice, relatively non-partisan post about Palin, and you BASH my gal Hillary! Shame, shame, shame! If Hillary did something wrong she would have been tried, & convinced like half of the republican leaders have been. Nuff said!

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi twofinches,

Good to see you again!

Yes, some of the media is bias, and some even try to add to the drama. I'm so glad that I've found the non-partisan fact checker sites, (posted to your right). They have really helped me sort things out. If interested you might want to bookmark them because the list will be taken down soon. ;o)

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi Debo Hobo,

Well, it was interesting what the findings were about her ethics.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi Speedcat Hollydale,

Hey Speedy, ah Hollydale, ah cat man.... Hey YOU!

Palin always looks hot to me. Some of my Democrat blog friends would like to shoot me for saying that, but I calls them as I sees them.

Yes, I had a fun time at the party too. It was nice getting to know you a bit more. My goodness I'm not use to all these compelments. *blush* Do you happen to have a single, lesbian, sister like you? ;o)

Your not running for some public office are you? :o0

Speedcat Hollydale said...

Running??? Ohh YES!

Political Postings

Any lesbians like me ??? ... not as far as I know Ha haaa!!!

Before you like me too much, I belive and know that the financial crisis is the direct result of subprime loans. These are the pushed, and in my eyes illeagal loans pushed by Fanny, Freddie, and Acorn. "All liberal driven ways of creating chaos in the housing market".
The bailout was not a bailout of greed ... it was bailout of government backed loans all along. I, and MANY conservatives had been warning people of the disasterous outcome of these GOVERNMENT backed junk loans for years. Liberals called these warnings insane, and in fact ... "biased and cruel". The only cruel thing about them is the effect they are having on the entire world economy know.

I am sure this will not be a popular comment, but it is truth.

I should not talk politics in a comment form!! Sorry - it was just an answer to your question. Kind of (((smile)))

You are POWERFUL in my mind because you have an open mind ... evident by the fact checking links on your sidebar. Many refuse to investigate what is true. Candidates will "SAY" anything. Obama has covered his tracks and refuted having close ties to hundreds of extremists that preach hate. Why then is everyone from his Chicago political machine past an extremist, or radical, or even terrorist?

I am not a big McCain supporter either. He has a record of flopping on issues.

Slap me please ... I think I just wrote a big ole rant. argggg

You can delete this comment if you wish

I just want PALIN to Go Away.

" He made good on his promise, and got our deficit down to nothing."

He increased the national debt every single year he was in office, to a total of $1.6 trillion of an increase. There was not one year there was a budget surplus. There was always a deficit, and the debt went up each year.

Bush increased the debt a lot faster, but the $1.6 trillion under Clinton just does not look good either.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi Speedcat Hollydale,

I have a Republican, lesbian, cyber friend, does that help? Plus some of my relatives are Republicans, (on the black sheep side of the family.) ;o)

Frankly, I don't know much about this financial mess, but the Republicans have had the power for over 6 of the 8 years, and things are a real mess. I don't think that the liberals can be blamed when they weren't even in power. I watch the political shows on T.V. & they tend to lay the blame for this mess on both parties. Maybe they are right.

Yes, I have recently found fact checkers, and just love them. There is so much B.S. going on, I feel like Tom Cruse in that movie...."Just give me the facts!" If you look at my past political posts you will see that we have had some good discussions here. As long as people are kind, and respectful of each other. I have even disagreed with some Democrats who I feel have stray way from the facts in order to defend Obama. I feel that since my vote is based on issues then I need to be informed of the facts.

And, no I won't slap you. I'm sorry, I'm just not into that. ;o)

P.S. I'm kind of controversed out & glad this election is almost over.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi meleah rebeccah,

You said, "I just want PALIN to Go Away."

LOL! I'm sorry, that's just not going to happen.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi dmarks,

Sounds like your reading a conservative website. If you get your info primarily from a Republican or Democrat based website, you will never know the facts. If you look to your right under "Political Non-Partisan Sites." You will see a list of factcheckers. I hope that you will talk a look at it. You can get to the truth faster with them. ;o)

Speedcat Hollydale said...

I thank you!

I know that politics are a heated issue, and most of the time they can get out of hand. Discussions?? I am all for them. To bad they do not take place more often.

I look at, and read all points of view, and have watched many tapes of actual Senate dialog from the past. This is the only way to find out what is really happening and why.

You really are a breath of fresh air!!!

Hug from the Cat :-)

Speedcat Hollydale said...

Check into Sub-Prime loans and Fanny Mae. They were given a BIG push before and during the Bush administration by Senators and Congressmen / Women.

Also check those polititions that were PAID the most by Fanny and Freddie lobbiests.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi Speedcat Hollydale,

How do you write in bold print and such?

Ah, well... Discussions can get rather spirited, but are civil. No murders have been reported.

It's good that you check out different view points.

Wooo! That hug knocked me off of my chair!

dmarks said...

Awake: Thank you. Will do, and find out more about Troopergate. I do try to avoid obvious right-wing sites like Free Republic, Newsmax, etc. (just like I don't consider the left-wing versions of these to be reliable either).

dmarks said...

Factcheck seemed to have precious little on it. but Polifact had information about how the guy was suspended. Looking further, Before Palin was elected and got involved, the head of the troopers wtote of Wooten that "The record clearly indicates a serious and concentrated pattern of unacceptable and at times, illegal activity occurring over a lengthy period, which establishes a course of conduct totally at odds with the ethics of our profession."

I found this information at the Washington Post, form its staff writers. The Post is generally considered to be a litte left of center, not a right wing Palin apologist organization.

I don't think there is anything bad about trying to get a bad cop fired. All Palin issues aside, I find it troubling that the Alaska State Troopers would knowingly leave someone known for illegal activity on the force. Were they that desparate for troopers that they had to keep known criminals?

(I noticed Snopes at the end of your list. I stopped using them after I noticed then to be rather biased on one question I looked up. The facts were presented about a certain politician's whopper of a lie, but they then in their conclusions bent over backwards to say it was OK).

Thanks for dropping by Awake... I already voted and I don't talk politics on blogs too much. I don't care for any of the politicians this time out. I would have voted for Hillary... and yes I am very conservative, Lutheran. But politics is politics and the Clinton's combined are wizards at it and I feel confident about them in office.

I voted this year against my usual voting record. I voted straight ticket ... you fill in the blanks.

See you around blog town!

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi dmarks,

Hey, I'm glad you checked out the sites. Keep on keeping on!

Awake In Rochester said...

Michelle Gartner!

Welcome back!!!

Well, it's good to see you. Pull up a chair, and stick around.

I know that I've been hitting heavy on the politics, but after Tuesday that should subside. I hope to see you again. ;o)

dmarks said...

"I know that I've been hitting heavy on the politics, but after Tuesday that should subside. I hope to see you again. ;o)"

Let us hope so..... but you can't always count on that. Remember November 2000. It didn't subside for a while.

Awake In Rochester said...

Hi dmarks,

I doubt it. In 2000 they were predicting a close race. The polls showed a tie. But now in 2008, Obama has a comfortable lead. We'll see.

If Palin runs for President in 2012, at least she has name recognition going for her... but that may not work in her favor
