HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Just a short, honest, list of things that I am thankful for this year.

~ A loving family.

~ Making friends on the Internet.

~ Food Banks & subsidized rent.

~ Being in good health.

~ A significant decrease in depression and anxiety.

~ Having a very nice agency to work for even though things are very slow.

~ God having control of my life, even when my life feels out of control.

What are you thankful for?

A Thanksgiving Alphabet

T...Turkeys, tablespreads, being together,
H...Happiness and homes to protect us from all weather,

A...Aunts and uncles, a reunion in Fall,
N...Nieces and nephews, family members all!

K...Kind-hearted kin coming over for dinner,

S...Surely you'll have fun, but you won't get thinner!
G...Gourds and pumpkins, mouths open wide.

I...Indians and Pilgrims we remember with pride.

V...Very special times-there could even be snow.
I...Imagine what it was like at Plymouth long ago.

N...Never forget how the settlers led the way,

G...Giving thanks and blessing this special day.

I tired to leave a comment on here last night, but the blogger pop up for comments kept locking up. I keep having problems with blogger late at night...

Sorry to hear things are rough for you. You aren't alone, it's getting pretty tough out there for people who never thought they would be facing financial problems. People need to stick together more then ever today. God has a plan and a purpose for people even in the valleys.

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving, mine was incredible, but then again everyday with my little family is great.

Hi Michelle Gartner,

Sorry that you had problems with Blogger. If it happens again please let me know.

I guess things are more crazy then I thought.

I'm glad that you had a good Thanksgiving! Mine was mixed.

This is a nice post.
I really liked this one:
"God having control of my life, even when my life feels out of control."

Let Go and Let God. :)

I hope yours was a nice one.

And yes...you and I *are* neighbors, eh??!! :)
When I was married we lived in Rochester for a couple years.
North Charlotte. Greenleaf Meadows Apartments, off the Parkway. I used to love to walk down to the pier as it was sooo close.
I really liked it there. It reminded me of a smaller NYC, but cleaner. :)

Nice to make your acquaintance, btw.

Hi Greeneyezz,

Welcome to my blog!

Oh, so you use to live in Rochester! It's a small world. Charlotte is nice. When I was a kid we use to go down to that area for ice cream & sit at the picnic table watching the Lake.
