John Lennon - Give Peace a Chance - 1969 - Eric Clapton

John Lennon, and Yoko Ono signing "Give Peace a Chance" live in Toronto in 1969. Eric Clapton on the guitar. (3:24 minutes)

I don't know about you folks, but I need a peace break. With all the wars going on. Presidential candidates at each other. Plus some minor bumps in the road in my life. I just need to sing this song a few times, and meditate on peace. Want to join me for a moment? "All we are saying is give peace a chance."

Nice video. I feel peaceful now. Sorta.

P.S.: I have been reading, but I've not commented much. I usually read on my iPhone and I haven't figured out how to comment on it without taking about 10 minutes - defeats the purpose of reading on the go. I've enjoyed your Palin discussions!

Hi Fat Doctor,

Yes, it's not the kind of peace that you get from meditation, or sometimes prayer. It's Lennon style Rock N' Roll peace.

Glad you've been keeping up on the reading. I'm glad that you have enjoyed the Palin discussions. They have gotten very lively, but not out of hand. Best of all, everyone is still talking with each other.

Hey, good to see you FD! Don't be so silent. You know I love to hear your two, or three cents. ;o)
