Heat Wave and Fairport Canal Days Festival

One of my favorite festivals is Fairport Canal Days. It's one of our largest festivals in the Rochester, NY area. It's from June 6-8. It has over 300 artisan booths, 40 traditional & ethnic food vendors. It has lots of entertainment including fireworks. I enjoy the Boat cruise along the Erie Canal.

Unfortunately, I don't think I will be attending this year. It will be to darn hot! It will be near 90 degrees for the next 5 days with pop-up thunder showers over the weekend. Holy Crap! I really hate to miss the festival this year. :o(

Thanks for your prayers for my son’s speedy recovery. He was discharged from hospital this afternoon. :)

Hi eastcoastlife,

I'm very glad to hear that your son is out of the hospital. I hope that they got to the bottom of the problem. I will stop by your blog again to see if there is any new info. It was very thoughtful of you to leave a message considering all that you have on your mind. I hope that you both can have a time of rest at home now. You've both been through a lot.

Hi Tracy,

Yes, it's a wonderful festival. But there's not much you can do when it's 90, and showers. Just stay in and crank up the A/C.

Hi Awake! I replied back to you on my post but thought i would post it here for you also. :) Yes i totally understand about you not wanting to post your real name. I to have been stalked in the past. This was a huge step for me. It was a huge step in faith for me. However also i felt because of my paintings being posted online anyway, people would know my name. I sign my work as Tracy Jo. So the name was already out there, since i post my work here on my blog and a few other places.

hugs and blessings!

Hi Tracy,

I understand this is a sign of growth for you.

You have beautiful paintings. I'm not sure if you are selling them online, but it might be a good idea.
