Williamson High Closed Friday Due To Flu Illnesses

Williamson High school was closed today due to the Flu. As many as 25 percent of the school's 420 students and several faculty and staff are currently out sick. All weekend activities are also canceled, so the building can be cleaned and sanitized. Williamson High school is located in Williamson, N.Y., Wayne county about 30 miles East of Rochester.

According to what I heard on the news, Wayne county is at the peak of their flu season. Monroe county, (where Rochester is), has just passed peak flu season.
